It Don't Mean a Thing If You Ain't Got That Swing...

Many of us are familiar with the catchy line "It don't mean a thing if you ain't got that swing..." but most of us are oblivious as to who actually wrote the composition! The original song, "It Don't Mean a Thing" has become a jazz standard and was composed by Duke Ellington during the 1930's. Duke Ellington is an American composer and pianist born in 1899.
