It has been a long time since we have kept in touch! But do not fret...we have some exciting news.
We have come up with a list of acts we want for the show. Here is the list:
- 3 Monologues
- 1 skit about slavery (Africville)
- Underground Railway
- A song which involves audience participation
- African Dance
- Reggae dance
- Lebo + Lucia à marimbas/saxophone act
- Comedy Skit
- Step
- The “Inventors” Skit à the skit about if there were no black people in the world
- 2 covers of 2 different songs
- Oscar Peterson dedication (Dorcas Lei)
- Hip-hop dance
- Poetry Slam à 2 poems
- 1 skit about athletes
- Fashion Show
Pay close attention to annoucements for audtions etc. for the acts you are interested in! Also, if you want to participate in the dancing aspect of the show, you can only participate in only 2 different dances MAX.
